Frequently Asked Questions

The Borough Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The office is located at 14 Crafton Street, Wellsboro, PA 16901.

Use the Utility Payment link in the main menu to open the Borough's online utility payment portal.

Parking tickets can be paid online through the Wellsboro Police parking ticket portal.

Forms and permit applications are available on the Forms page and in Borough Information. Current items include utility applications, zoning permits, sewer and water applications, HARB forms, public record requests, and sidewalk permits.

Annual Water Quality Reports are available on the Water Quality Reports page. The current website lists reports for 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Meeting notices are listed on the Government Meetings page. Meetings are generally held in the Council Meeting Room at the Borough Office, 14 Crafton Street, Wellsboro, PA, unless otherwise noted. Agendas are posted at least 24 hours before meetings.

For emergencies, call 911. For non-emergency police matters, the Wellsboro Police Department phone number listed on the Borough Information page is (570) 724-4400.

Recycling schedules and garbage information are available through Important Links and Borough Information. The website currently includes residential and commercial recycling schedules.

Use the Suggestion Box page. The form opens your email app and sends your suggestion to Borough staff by email.

Use the Board & Commissions page to browse Mayor, Borough Council, HARB, Planning Commission, Shade Tree Commission, Municipal Authority, Parking Authority, Zoning Hearing Board, Wellsboro Borough Municipal Authority, Civil Service Commission, and Grand Canyon Airport Authority.
